As a lifelong educator, I’m interested in all matters related to education–especially PreK-12 education. As such this blog is focused on drawing attention to current events and of course exploring the impact for educators and students.
My background in education has included classroom experience in Special Education, Title Services, Middle School, and K-12 Counseling. Currently, I’m involved with staff development and fill administrative responsibilities for a non-profit educational service center. I’ve certainly found that my filters and perspectives have changed as I’ve filled different positions over the years.
I welcome productive discourse, and even find it stimulating. In fact, some of my greatest professional growth has grown out of lively debates with my colleagues.
